Isodria's Pain

I can still recall the pain as my mother's head flew into the bushes, claw marks marring her features. And I remember as a hand reached out to help me stand on my trembling legs after they ran the murderer away. The sadness and pity in their eyes as they forced me away from the body I was trying to reach. My mother, protected me and died.

And later when Alice protected me and was killed. And again, years later, when Shadow was killed protecting me.

Well now it's my turn to protect those I love. As I prepare for battle, I grimly smile.
